When searching for suitable brushes please orient yourself on the following:
 

1. Tough stains - even occasionally (fixed brake dust, rust) = hard bristles
2. Easily removable dirt (with soap and water) = soft bristles
3. For unpainted aluminum rims (highly polished) and for colored painted wheels = only soft bristles
